Had a missed call from this number, rang and got The Smart Group, message said it was to do with a service they provide and to push 1 to speak to an operator, spoke to Tory who said if it was important they would ring me back, not very helpful and wouldnt divulge what they did

I got a call from this number today asking to sell adult toys. I said I was disgusted but they persisted and stated that they were from smart adult industries and was all legit, I then hung up the phobe

This company is installing Embertec SmartSwitches that are part of the Victorian Govt energy efficiency target scheme to save power from your TV and computer being left on all the time. Seems legit, if you have called them or booked an appointment online. If not, they are probably just doing the annoying telemarketing thing.

My mother picked up this number, although I could hear it from the handset. I was immediately put on my guard when I heard girlish laughter before the voice announced she was from "Smart Energy" and asked if we had changed our bulbs to energy savers. I motioned to cut the call off and my mother quickly said she wasn't interested and hung up.I noted the number (03) 9015 7355) and, like I always do, ran it through Google. Found this site. Called the number back and got an answering machine that said it was "Integral Energy" and that they were closed.Whenever I get a call that doesn't seem right, see if you can get the number (if one has caller ID). You lose nothing by typing it into Google (or your preferred search engine) and seeing what pops up. I once got a prank call, and fell into it but noticed that the person hadn't put their mobile phone on private. Ran the number through Google and found their Whitepages entry. Not only do I know their name and address, I recognised the details - I go to uni with the guy. I know what he looks like and what his house looks like. While I haven't taken any action, should anything happen, his details will be happily provided to authories. That, or his house will be egged.

I'm in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I got a call from that number at 3.30pm today and i answered. the guy said he's calling from integral energy something, but I just hung up and 10mins later my partner got a call from the same number, seemed strange as they knew both of our numbers... so dodgy

they keep ringing my mobile. you can ring the number. it is an answering machine message. something like the smart group. they say if you received a missed call from this number, it may be because you requested a service from this company or something else i cant remember.
i'm in vic at the moment. time to block the number. thanks to everyone for posting too.

Just got a call also...googled the number as I became suspicios that someone from "Property..." was calling. Didn't get the full name of the supposed company because it cut out...

Got a call from this number today and it hung up a few seconds after I answered the call. I called back and apparently it is The Smart Group. I guess they are doing cold calling sales for energy companies (i.e they are trying to get you to switch energy providers by offering you a discount depending on your current rates which is why they want you to have your bill). Im sick to f***ing death of these marketing and sales calls since I listed my number in the phone book.
