This is a scam claiming to be from the ATO. Confirmed with ATO to ignore any calls from this number as it is not them.

Fake ATO Scam, just have fun. Give them fake details etc...
Drag it out and at the end tell them your homeless/unemployed.(don't pay tax)
And that you just found the phone on the ground half an hour ago.

Scam caller (automated message) claiming to be ATO. States you are being investigated for fraud. On call-back, an Indian female answered and hung up on me when I started querying their location.

Got a call today same said from ato

pretending to be the tax office saying they were investigating the person and their family.

Got a call and missed it, called back and asian answered saying ATO and then hung up on me

I rang once and got disconnected
