Scam call. Claimed that there was fraudulent activity on my tax file number, and that a warrant had been given for my arrest if I didn’t call back.

Claimed to be ATO with a warrant for my arrest etc etc.Press 1 or call back.
ignored and on blocked list.
Arrest no doubt imminent.

They said they were from tax office and I was going to be arrested it was a recorded msg these people are the ones that should be arrested

Called to report that my TFN was fraudulent.

Caller: Claimed to be from the ATO

Arrived as a text message claiming that some suspicious activity was observed on the account. Text was a bit garbled from converting from voice to text but the name Mark Linda was mentioned. Not able to ascertain if that was the caller or the name of the account in question.
I called the number back thinking it was a wrong number. When the call was answered I laughed at the fact that the ATO would get a phone number wrong and the guy said "f*ck you" and hung up.

SCAM - called back and they answered "Australian Taxation Office how can I help" I said you rang me and they hung up. I rang back same thing. Blocked number.

Recorded message telling me to phone otherwise my tax file number would be suspended

This is scam. Message was left in my message bank saying something like my tax file will be abandoned...

I missed the call and they left a VM informing my TFN will be suspended and I will be arrested immediately if I don't return their call.

Went to VM. Message is a little garbled. What I could make out was something about my tax file number being suspended unless I pay money. Have blocked number.
