Caller: Indian lady claiming to be from Telstra Thick indian accent, claimed to be from Telstra (she knew my first name) - wanting to offer me 50% discount on my next few months bills... I replied, interesting. This IS ...name... and I work for the WA Police Department. Well I did'nt get to say anything else - she hung up! Of course I blocked it :)

Caller: Indian Lady from Telstra 7pm (8pm Melbourne time) she called me and she knew my name, my mobile number, my email address. As above she wanted to give me 50% off my Telstra bill for 6 months. She sent me a text with a code that she wanted me to read out to her. I refused to read it out. The text was a Google verification code so it had nothing to do with Telstra. I told her I wasn’t giving her any information and hung ups Scam for sure.
