Called and claimed to be Telstra and I had security issues about my internet. Told them I didn't use Telstra as an ISP and my connection is VPN'd, and they claimed that they have all the info because Telstra is the internet company of Australia.

I told them NBN runs the fibre connection now, they told me to 'f**k off and go google it' and hung up lol

Called and didnt leave message therefore will ignore

I have just received a call from this number and they claimed to be from NBN support. I don’t have internet in my name so just hung up.

Hung up on answer.

Telling me my Amazon prime will be charged 79.99 or press 1 to speak to a manager.
I don’t have an Amazon anything. :p

Scam claiming to be from NBN support

Random guy saying that my internet plan will be cut off for 24 hours.

I do not have any plans in my name, and after I said this he hung up.

It is most likely a scammer.

Also received a call but I didn't answer. Looks like a trend happening here

I've been getting these random local numbers (always a different number) that always have a long pause before connecting and someone from a company I'm not associated with calling about an financial issue or ATO / Police issue I need to resolve... obvious scam. If you hear the long pause, just hang up no matter who it is.

Claimed to be from Telstra re my internet, but long pause before anyone spoke and I don't have Telstra account. I'm blocking it.
