Had a call today. Said I didn't order anything. Knew tit was a scam as I couldn't understand a word he was saying. I use paypal anyway! NEVER my card

I rang them back and said someone called me, they started going on about eBay, and I hang up on them, I hope I’m ok

I was just called from this number too. Something about a gift card, and "I should call back" - same as you. I never answer if I don't recognise the number.

Woman's voice robocall saying my credit card would be charged $199 unless I rang a certain number to cancel the order What order? She read out the number very quickly so I brought up the number again to write it down. I rang back but the number rang out - twice. Then I checked it out here and found it being reported here. It is very irritating that nothing can be done about it except to block the number. I really would like to have a 'chat' with that woman or whoever has organised the robocalls.

Just got a call from this number - WT !
I Don’t have an eBay account - Indian man said my ‘credit card was going to be debited for gift card of $199 - I said I don’t use eBay!! And have not authorised anything...Then he Said why are you getting cross at me said he’d called me because of fraudulent activity lol I said pretty hard As I don’t have an eBay acct - I called him a scammer! I said which Bank is my supposed debit of this Amt with? He said it was a CBA credit card - I asked what is the number of That acct you have on file - he said due to privacy he can’t provide to me!!! then he said if you have a dispute for these charges go to your Ebay account to a link he’d supply and fill out the form- I said which part of ‘I don’t have an account aren’t you clear about? ‘
I ended the call! Definitely a scam what a scum ! Blocked the number and supplied NO information !!!!

That they are ebay and they would debit my credit card for $100 for itunes cards unless I call them back. Scam I think.

This number stated they were EBay and were going to debit my card and to call back. Number blocked.

I don't answer phone numbers l don't recognise. I did purchase some things on eBay the other day but from what l've read here these people are just calling random numbers in the hope of scamming someone
