Said that there was someone using our internet/IP address and that they had access to our personal info so we needed to upgrade. I said we'll call our internet provider she said that they can't fix it they have to she then gave me her phone number name and ID number D320464
Pretty sure it's a scam

Caller: Kevin Wilson

Claiming to be from NBN. Asking if we have had trouble with NBN (which we have). Told me we have 20 -25 people using our NBN connection. Sounded very convincing until he told me his name was Kevin Wilson. Asked if he was Kevin "Bloody" Wilson. He said he wasn't a comedian. =Gave me job ID b /d 200125.

My wife answered her phone, good old Kev is there but this time he is calling from an energy company. He must have switched employers! He hung up after two questions. Good riddance

Called claiming to be from NBN, wanted to show me security problems on my computer. I have been through this type of thing before, SCAM!!!

Well Kevin Wilson is still at it. How many Indian callers from a very noisy area are called KEVIN WILSON same scam my internet is unsafe and he can fix it.ID and job number given,

Indian man telling me that there is a security problem with my computer and asked me to go to my computer. I asked him what was the problem and he couldn't explain anything. Asked me to call 9013 5577 and I said i will call NBN 1800 number instead. He insisted that I call 9013 5577 instead of the 1800 advertised on NBN website. I think a SCAM. I hung up.

Gave me his caller ID D200125 claimed he was calling from NBN HQ, he said our firewall was expired and that overseas people can get into our pc and access personal information.
Back round was very noisy, this man had a heavy Indian accent, what Indian person's name is Kevin Wilson? seriously? SCAM!

same thing - Person was "Max Williams" and said many people are accessing our IP ranges... ref: D415296

SCAM for sure!

It was also very noisy in the background.

Told me there was a security issue with my NBN. Hung up when I told her that the contact number she gave me is connected to a scam.

NBN Scam.

Caller: Claimed to be David Watson but sounded foreign.

Claimed to be from NBN but it sounded like an overseas call (though when I asked him if he was in Australia he said yes). Said there was a problem with our security. When i was skeptical he gave me his name and a 6-digit job number. Gave me this number to call back on to verify but that I needed to do it right away. I think it could be a scam.
