Threatening lawsuit and non bail arrest for tax fraud sent as sms to my mobile after I missed call. Previously when I’ve answered it's an automated message on a similar line threatening arrest. As it is a work phone and I work for Govt I know it’s a scam and just hang up. Starting to get annoying as it’s been going on for last month.

Indian scammer claiming to be from the Australian Taxation Office legal department saying I'm under investigation for tax evasion. Demanded to know my full name, date of birth and tax file number. I told him my name is Scott John Morrison, born on 13 May 1968, and I'd have to call him back with my TFN. Obvious scammer.

A recorded voice told me I was about to be investigated - at which stage I hung up.
