They were asking about my internet speed, and to follow instructions, I did type internet speed on the laptop but they wanted me to do on the phone which I was not willing to do as I suspected it may have been a scam.

Supposed to be the ATO. Rang the number back and they said it was ASIO. Idiots!! Scammers!!

I was at work when this number called me. The voice message was very robotic and demanded that the phone call be returned or they had to issue an arrest warrant! But when I called back the number is busy all the time. How do I find out if this is a scam?

I had this today aswell. I never answer numbers I don't know and they left the same thing. Must be a new scam.

The robotic voice told me to call back. If not, he will issue an arrest warrant.

Same as previous comment. Auto message saying if you don't respond you will have an arrest warrant. Scam...block caller or don't answer

The same happened to me too. I tried calling back twice, but the first time it rang without answer, and the second time it was disconnected

Same happened to me. A robotic call talking about some sort of department that demanded me to call this number back otherwise they would issue an arrest warrant.

Same thing happened to me. If I was gonna be arrested I would be spoken to from a real person NOT an answer machine.... What sh*t. Im just adding this number to the many others to be blocked

Was computerized voice message from the so called Tax office. Was told there was tax fraud occurring in my name and if i didn't call back urgently an arrest warrant will be issued in my name. SCAM big time.

Missed the call but they left a message advising something had been filed under my name and to urgently call them back on their department division number. Scam.

I just had the same message left on my phone.

Said it was Australian Tax office.
It was robotic voice.
Will send a warrant.
I rang it back and they said Australian Tax office

They claimed to be from the Australian Tax office Fraud division regarding my tax return. Apparently there was a arrest warrant. Robotic voice, obviously a scam.

Same as the above. It was like Stephen Hawking calling from the grave! - Blocked.
