This is common number that comes up frequently.

This is a spam/scam call. 100 percent. Do not answer, Do not engage with & Block the number.

Caller: Claimed to be from the NBN Customer Service Dept.

Advised that my computer had been hacked by scammers from overseas. When I said that any computer problems should come from my internet providor not NBN she advised that nbn was acting on behalf of my ISP . But she couldnt tell me who my ISP was. She gave me the above number as a contact which was supposedly NBN's Customer Service Dept.

I received a call displayed on my Calling Number Display as 'overseas' from a male caller with a foreign sounding accent regarding "slow internet connection" and that the internet was going to be disconnected in two hours (as I haven't heard this before...)

I told the person that the call was being monitored and recorded due to too many scam calls. Did not make a difference to him. I asked him for a number to verify the call and he gave me the above number, which I am not going to call, of course.

I am surprised that these scammers have not given up yet. By now, everyone in Australia is most likely aware that these calls are coming from scammers.
