Caller: Taxation Office of Australia Automated message, clearly a hoax - stating that the reason for this call is that you have a lawsuit against you and you need to ring them back on extension 3. I hanged up.

Robotic voice left a message asking for me to call back on extension three. Said if I don’t get back to them they will “have to issue an arrest warrant and get you arrested”.

Electronic voice message (with an American accent - c'mon) saying there was an arrest warrant with my name, yet didn't give my name. Seriously what kind of sick people are out there! Can only hope Karma gives it to them big time.

The message sounded automated. The caller repeats the number and then proceeds to say " now if we don't hear from you , we have to issue arrest warrant under your name and get you arrested. So get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you".
While there are plenty of spams and pranks going on, this is crossing the line.
I had a colleague who received a message along the line of issuing an arrest warrant and facing execution.
Again - a prank of this nature? This is harassment!
