Same thing happened here. they asked for my age nd actually had the nerve to tell me that bcoz im 19 i could do alot with 100K. This customer service rep named laura also laughed in my face when i rang back to tell her that i let the fraud squad know of their scam. police said that they cant do anything at the moment. im so bummed coz i actually gave them my full name before i realised :(

this is a scam. report it to www.scamwatch.gov.au. this is annoying I keep getting phone calls now. I called the police they can not do anything until this woman ripps someone off and gets the $2000 she is asking for. How wrong is that. The only way to stop her calling me is to change my number because I have a Nokia phone.

Got the same sms, did the same thing googled and came to this blog.  Thanks. Told friends and family about it.

Same as above also $100,000 Casino Promotion, bad line, caller very hard to understand,very persistant and when asked for bank account details we declined, another person called back to try again, when asked why they couldn't send a cheque, they said it was their policy not to!!  all up we spoke to 3 different women.
