A recording left on my answering machine saying I've done something wrong.. And the matter will go to federal court if I don't call back.. .havent heard of any real companies giving legal advice leaving a pre recorded message.. Obviously new scammers

Load of rubbish - got the same recorded message regarding the ATO & Federal court and to ring them back, Scam Scam Scam
Its not an ATO number or Federal court number. If it was they would send a letter or ring and actually talk to you.
Obviously Scam & wast of time - thank goodness for REVERSE AUSTRALIA

this is a scam number they try to say they are from the ATO and that you need to pay or they will have you arrested with a worrent

I got a recorded message saying i had done something wrong, and that if I did not call back immediately, I would be arrested and I would find myself in the federal court. I called the Police to see if there was a warrant for my arrest, or a summons to court. I was told no, and that this message are most likely scammers.

Had the same message left on my landline. Knew it was fake because she has an American accent. Didn't ring back. Suggest you don't either - just delete the message.

This is a scam number. Had a number of calls regarding this particular number come through my station

My wife has had the same. We chose to ignore it.
