Caller: Scam Caller claiming to be Immigration office Answered call and heard automated voice saying in English ‘This is a call from the Immigration office, we have been trying to contact you. We have an important document for you. For English select 1’ Then came on a Chinese automated voice. I stayed in the line, thinking that after the Chinese voice would finish I would then (due to curiosity, well knowing that this is most likely a scam call as I’m an Australian born citizen and resident my whole life so very odd for “Immigration Office” to be contacting me) select 1 for English and see where this would go. However after the Chinese voice had finished, it automatically hung up not allowing me to sit on the line?! Definite scam call! Bloody idiots have never better to do with their darn time! Going to block number and report as scam, you should do the same.
