Claimed to be from the ABN

Has called numerous times over the last month (twice today). No response on answering - silence then hang up - and no message left when I've allowed it to go to voicemail.

why haven't they been taken down? it's 2022 and they still scam call.

I've had the same at my work (a library) which makes me wonder if they're just trying random numbers and not seeing the business name at all.

Caller: Charity marketer

I would call them a charity marketing firm, and they get paid a % of the donation, so would rather donate on the website, but wish there was an option on websites to say - no email, call or snail mail - I'll donate when I choose to, so same you money. No way am I going to give my credit card over the phone to a mystery caller, no matter who they claim to represent.
All these calls are computers anyway, then switch to an operator when you answer. So they can call 10 times a day and it does not matter to them!

Just like with all the other people who have commented, the tossers calling from (03) 9006 0153 ring several times a day, if the call goes to your message bank, there is no message, if you answer and they don't speak, they hang up. So far they have called 7 times... persistent beggers. They also called from (03) 9006 0154, that number was (as this number has now been) blocked.
