Called by these guys today telling me they were from Telstra , my computer had viruses etc. Indian accents . Amateurish delivery. I told them to sod off, they got upset!!!!

This appears to be a scam - pretending to be from Telstra, saying your internet has been suspended for 6 months because your computer is infected.

Same was happening to me. I reported to Telstra and hopefully they do something to stop this scam. Otherwise it will affect a wider community.

A scam from India. Do not follow their instructions. They are stating they are calling from Telstra but "deleted" all your details so will call you sir or madam. They will say that your computer has been "infected with a virus" and you need to follow their instructions.
Not sure if they are after a credit card or to obtain access to your computer.
