Techforhelp tried to scam me into allowing access to my computer to clear viruses and spyware

Received an unsolicited call from this company, even though I'm on the do not call list.  Be careful they are trying to ascertain whether or not you have an internet connected computer.

someone called harry, called me few days back and asked that my computer is totally been corrupted, and that's why he told me that i have to register some maintenance and for that he would charge me around 390$ for my computer,,,
this guys will first of all show some eventvwr thing then would say that your computer is corrupted please help me in this i must have been scammed,,,
