This number called me, went to call back and got “Optus advises this number has been disconnected”

Assuming it’s a scam caller

Caller: man with Indian accent

claimed to be from Visa (I don't have visa).

Automated message telling me there is an issue with my immigration visa and to push one number for English and another for Chinese.

I was born here. I was raised here. I only have Australian citizenship.

When is the Australian government going to do something about these scammers? Enough is enough!

Unlike most of the above, the one I received was in English, purportedly from the immigration authority. Definitely scam.

Scam call. When I called back, “Optus advises this number has been disconnected - mobile number OH I AM ONE”.

Caller: Robocall - voice recording

Scammer claiming to be Vodaphone. English recording then in an Asian language.

Went to voicemail, left message in Chinese, I think.

Called, straight to voice mail as not in my contacts. Didn’t leave a message. I called back minutes later and got the message ‘Optus advises that this number is disconnected’

Phone is off the hook when returning serve, suspected SCAM

Unknown number to me so not answered.
