Another fake electricity comparison call

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Not known to me. 28Mar2026.

This scam call to me is as a direct consequence of my having signed up through 'Switch' to Origin Energy. So it could be that someone from either Switch or Origin has sold my number to scammers. I think it is most likely to be someone at Origin, as I was expected to hold for 25 minutes while I waited to speak with someone at Origin, and then the customer service team were all in the Philippines. So it is possible that someone in the Philippines has sold my phone number on the black market.

Bloody cheek - I called back and I was expected to leave a message so that 'customer service' could call me - It was an American male accent. I did not leave a message and have blocked the number.

Caller: Supposedly Telstra

This time they say they are from Telstra & calling about my I P ADDRESS not even a customer had the same call a week ago from Optus told them the fk off

Asking me if im the main user of my internet when i said no. He suddenly drop the call. His accent is like indian but i dont say he is. So rude.

Breathed and laughed and didn’t answer
