Scammers spoofing

I answered the call, but never said a word. It was dead quiet at first. I missed who they said they were. It was an automated message. They said they were doing research on the rise of cost of living and asked if I were under or over 50 years old. I waited a second or 2 and they hung up. I have now blocked the number.

Caller: Claiming to be Australian Research Centre

Wanted to ask questions about age, state of mortgage, size of mortgage, income then my name - also said if I shared my name I would go into a draw to win $1000. I didn’t answer any of the questions with a direct answer

Call said it came from Melbourne when I live in Queensland don’t know anyone nor have I done any business in Melbourne most likely a scam

scam/nuisance calling from another state

Caller: Australian research center

I keep blocking these calls from australian research center and they keep getting new numbers.....

Likely scam, only rang for a few seconds before hanging up when I didn’t answer.
