Unsolicited call from an overseas call centre, pretending to be from Melbourne. Suspected scam.

Unsolicited call - scam -

They call and hang up without leaving a message. I suspect they are casing phone numbers to see if you will pick up. I have been getting these 03 calls for a number of weeks. I block them so they try calling from a similar number.

has rung 5 times, never leaves msg - I've rung back but the call doesn't connect- also had calls from (03) 9001 8344- similar numbers -obvious scam- best to block the number

Answered it, it said “Goodbye” and call ended.

Same call yesterday but last 2 digit was different 87.
