A caller from this number claimed to be acting on behalf of the Victorian government's energy-saving scheme and demanded to know whether I had exhaust fan covers. I said that I would check the website which he said was emeraldplanet.com.au, although I meant the state government's website. I then ended the call.
Unsurprisingly, that company does not appear to be a Victorian government accredited provider, so I lodged a complaint with the Do Not Call Register. And shortly after that, less than an hour after the first call, they called me a second time. (I didn't respond.) Beware: very dubious! I have now blocked the number.
