They claimed they were Telstra helpers and kept telling me to go to this team viewer page but it turns out to be scammers saying they will cut my internet off for 1 year but I'm not even with Telstra for my internet bahaha

What a joke. Said he was from Telstra and said my internet would be cut off for 2 months due to some overseas hackers using my internet connection. I was to be lucky as he could help me fix everything. I mentioned the word 'scam' and he hung up.

Just got a call from them, Indian voice and I hung up, they are rats

Said he was from Telstra calling about my internet. I asked him to prove it it. HE gave his telstra id number. TEA0056.
He tried to continue. I told him I’d check his details with Telstra and get back to him

Rang number back and was told number you have called is not connected
