Caller: iCare

Called and said they were doing Market Research when it was really a sales call. I work in Market Research and know better. When I tried calling back, message clearly said 'responding to our marketing call'. I called a few time and always to a voice message

Call from a rather inept young woman claiming to be from icare, purportedly conducting a survey about how people feel about rising health insurance premiums. My immediate feeling was that this was going to be an outfit like iSelect of commission-seeking salespeople. She immediately asked me if I had private health insurance, whereupon I told her that it was none of her $#@! business what I do and to go away – in other words, no personal information of any kind given. Later research showed that there was a NSW state government agency called "icare". Why would they be calling me (in the ACT), and why would they be calling from an 03 area code number?

I keep on getting calls from this area and if I do answer the phone it is generally a marketing or call asking for money

Claimed to be from iCare asking about health insurance, but with a Victorian number!!!
