Caller: Someone claiming to be from NAB

Sounds like a scammer

Sounds like a scam, everytime i answer they hang up. When i dial the number it says NAB assistance. A representative talk to me asking personal details like DOB, and they will aend a text message and will tell them the numbers on the text they say its like a confirmation of who I am. I ask them then is this a scam. I didn't contact any of you. I will contact you guys if I need you. Then they hang up again

Legitimate call from NAB. No personal details asked, they had a genuine query and actioned my response

Caller: Didn't Answer

Based on what I've read here I decided to report this number to NAB, curious coincidence that this number was calling me on a day where I actually needed to deal with NAB over the phone. If in doubt hang up and call NAB directly via the customer support number on their website or via the NAB App.

Got a call from this number and was definitely a scam

Caller: A scammer pretending to be NAB

If this is NAB they can genuinely EMAIL
Or genuinely TEXT - there is nothing genuine what so ever of this uninvited dreadful scam contact. I have contacted Scam Watch who also confirmed a genuine bank doesn't make random contact
