I was told they received an emergency call from my number whilst in shower. Nobody in the house had phoned my mobile. It was out of reach of my toddlers in 3 adults’ view. Very strange.

Further to my message here, the number is legit. The police just arrived to check if I was ok. I still did not make a call to emergency services in the first place tho.

Caller: Ambulance Victoria!?

Message left just now to advise that they received a call from my number and to call 000 if help was required. No call was made by my phone, I was asleep as it is 4.30am Sunday.

I literally live in WA, so why is Ambulance victoria contacting me or following up like what everyone is saying above/below.

Someone, probably an absolute MORON is calling triple 000 and leaving peoples numbers. I never called triple 0

I quite literally just had the phone call that said they were calling from Queensland Emergency Services - and asking if i needed an ambulance, right now, at my address. Last time i called an ambulance, it took them 30 minutes to get here and there are four ambulance parked less than 1 kilometre away! Some people choose to be idiots!
