Caller: Left a message with a Ref Number to quote when I return the call.

Scammers who spoof Australian numbers to scam people. I got a call, but will not waste my time answering it. In any case, once you respond, they know you will respond and call again. I blocked the number.

This number is actually Open Education Australia? They emailed me after I missed the call to tell me their office hours. I didn't recognise the number, so I came on here. If you've enquired about studying, perhaps that's why?

I got the call to claim behalf of Energy Australia to offer me a discount on gas, I trusted them and sign the oral contract over the phone. my god I'm starting worried.I will call Energy Au tomorow, hope it's not a scam.

Have received 5 calls from them now claiming to be ringing on behalf of Bigpond to try and sell us ADSL which is not available in our area and why we have just gone wireless. The drip that rang today said our exchange had been upgraded two weeks ago, which of course was an outright lie as it won't get upgraded until 2014.Have now made an official complaint to the Do Not Call Register (I've been registered for over a year) as advised by Telstra management.
