Call centre with a lot of background noise so could hear very well. Wanted me to change our electricity supplier. Hung up and blocked number

Caller: Benefit Deal (telemarketing call)

5 second delay before connection. Person from Benefit Deal. This company is an absolute nuisance. I receive calls from them several times a week on all different numbers.

I have been receiving missed calls from this number over the last few weeks - they're persistent. I returned the call and the ring tone sounded dodgy. I've blocked the number.

Caller: Telemarketer/represents energy companies

Probably call centre calling from South Africa, calling in regards to trying to offer me new energy plans. Hung up after I told them I was not interested.

These pests keep calling for 2 years now doesn’t matter how many times I tell them to F off I’m not interested in electricity deals they call on a new number every time. They are the scum of the earth. My old electricity company sold my info to them. Monster energy or something like that. Both scum

Yes it's one of those pestering electricity nuisance calls.

After talking with him for a long time, I asked him how did he got my number. He answered " most of the local numbers were sold by company's that people signed up to , like lottery tickets signups , non-profit organisations, local energy survey marketers, local movers, local businesses that can sign up customers for deals etc .

So we most people here complain that these idiots were non stop but who is the idiot signed-up for something and gave number to unknown local business ?

Also who is that stupid local business that sells the info to tele marketeers ?

Yet we don't know all these, even myself pissed off on the end caller but real culprit along with them is local businesses and local marketing scums ... Yet we take our anger on certain race and country .... How idiotic are we ?

I hang up as soon as they mentioned my electricity bill

Answered the first one as it was from nearby and looked legit. Hung up when I was told it was Benefit Deals.
I forgot to block and they called back 40 minutes later.

Two calls so far in two hours, long wait after answering the call......hung up, blocked number.

They are using voip.Many different numbers. Gutless abusive harassing dropkicks. Call your MP and asked what is the Government doing about this daily abuse?
