In India lot of call centers are doing this unethical job.

Constant calling then dropping the line when I say hello.

received frequent calls from this number .. World Group ... United Group etc .... when I call the nbr back, I get Utilities Group and it's out of office hrs. It's an Indian call centre for sure, I can hear others in the background, they are persistent in keeping you on the call. They have your name and address. They want further info from you, absolute scammers. Each call, I use to blast them. Have had enough & just registered my nbr on the government site for DO NOT CALL. https://www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/register-your-numbers/

Scam called repeatedly. Blocked number. Kept calling using different phone numbers.

Caller: Claimed to be United Choice group, a power company

Call centre noises, Indian accent, I asked how they got my number - vague reply. Said I was not interested & hung up

Called and said it was about "an electricity service you currently have".
Interesting, as no current service providers have electricity under my name.

Goddamned idiots.
I'm hoping they didn't steal my voiceprint to try and fraudulently use my identity for other scams.
