Caller: "The Inkman" A guy, who called himself David (sounded Indian) called up asking for confirmation of our email address, first thought our clinic was in Darwin and read out a paediatric clinic name from there, and then corrected himself and stated our clinic's name. He then went on to request confirmation if we had a Brother or Kyocera Printer in reception and requested the serial number. I asked him what made him think that we had either of those machines and he got stroppy and said "can I just have the number", I've discussed this with your Practice Manager. He didn't realise that he was speaking to the practice manager. I asked him again what made him think we had either of those printers in our reception. He said just confirm for me the printer sitting next to you in reception. I said that I didn't think I would give him that information and he hung up.

Caller: "David" 'David' called wanting our email. When asked why, he said it's to do with your printer and some prices. Told him it's a brand new printer so we don't need prices, he said he knows it's a brand new printer but the cartridges in the won't last long so he can send through prices for new ones. Told him we already buy our cartridges from an office store, he said 'I know, Office Works right?', No, David, not right.

Caller: David "The Inkman" Same as the previous comments. Wants to know if we use brother or kyocera. Told him we have multiple printers in the building. wants to know what model is the kyocera. Gave him incorrect info. I told him we already have a local supplier for cartridges and he was very persistent saying he has better prices to offer. Wants to know practice manager's name. Told him it's not needed and to just send the email addressed to the "Practice Manager". Didn't tell him he's already speaking to the PM.
