Not a sucker

Caller type: Robocall
Location: Australia
Caller: Scammers pretending to be Amazon Prime

First I get the robocall message saying my Amazon Prime account will be renewed for another year. If I don't want to renew my membership, to dial 1 and so I do and I get an Indian sounding guy called "Alex Morris" - If you are going to choose a fake name, choose a name that matches your accent.

I asked him for his Amazon employee number right off the bat, he double talked his way for more time to think about it and gave me the number AMZP860062.
So I go along with his call... He proceeds to tell me that someone was trying to use my Amazon Prime account in Melbourne. I told him, that's not what the recording said, it said my account will be renewed for another year.
She said, exactly ma'am, someone in Melbourne is trying to renew your Amazon Prime account to make purchases. Very quick on his feet but the answer makes no sense.
I also mentioned that it would be hard to renew my Amazon Prime account since I don't have one. He said, he realises that but someone is using my information to use Amazon Prime.

I keep going along with his call, I like to waste his time as much as I can.

He asked me if I have a laptop, desktop or a smartphone near me. I said no, I don't have any of those things. I've had them call me before and they want me to download TeamViewer... so he repeats, so you don't have a laptop or a desktop or a smartphone? I said no I don't. I have a very old phone which is very not smart, it's a little dumb.
So he swiftly hangs up on me. Very unprofessional fake Amazon Prime employee!
