They don’t ask personal information, only demographics for analysis purposes, which is kept private and confidential by law. Surveys for companies such as banks, government and other organisations. They can call from 9am to 8pm and on weekends up to 5pm. Market Research is exempt from the do not call register. Hope that helps.

Claimed to be calling on behalf Westpac and if I would mind answering some questions.

Either it was a scammer or Westpac thinks its customers are so dumb that they would answer questions to basically anonymous phone callers.

Woman asks if I would do a survey.
When I asked how she got my number which is both private AND registered for DNC she put supervisor "Jeremy" on who waffled on that "we are allowed to call as it's not a sales call.." blah blah blah. Why the hell is a random "survey" company allowed to call all hours and harass??? They should NOT be allowed to call!!

I was called at 5.40pm 10/04/18 and I didn't answer. No message was left. After reading previous comments on reverse Australia I'm guessing it was a call about Westpac as we've jusThanks refinanced loans. Just guessing.

Called my wife whose English is poor. She understood only that somebody was asking for a lot of personal information. Rang off when my wife said she wanted to consult with me before going any further.

Please educate your self between telemarketers and legitimate market and social research organisation. Also please educate your self on the Do Not Call Register. Market Research is excempt.

I am customer of Westpac and was very happy to conduct the survey. They did not ask any personal information just general feedback for the bank and my banking manager. They seemed very open on who they are, my banking manager also confirmed their legitimacy of the survey, and TKW Research.

This number called my work mobile three times this morning and the first two times no one spoke on the other end. Third time a man apologised for the previous two calls as he had a "bad line". Said he was conducting research and feedback for ANZ business banking - when I told him I did in fact have an issue regarding my business account, he got all flustered and told me he was only a representative and I was best to contact ANZ directly. Not really sure what the point of him asking for my feedback was for then! Seems all a bit suspicious to me!! 😂

Called when i was on lunch break asking about local water company and a survey on their quality, answered the questions cause they weren't too invasive, he hung up when I told him my name and was spelling it for him, idiot, just block their number

After some web research i found the company is legit. What really piss ya is the lack of information on there behalf, of course myself and other would automatically jump into the path its a scammer. I have locked the number in my phone as a scammer, funny thing is I have now locked 3 of there numbers.
For Westpac I have very little to comment to wards this so called Bank, compared to others.

"Legitimate" market research or not, they're still calling in defiance of the Do Not Call register. All calls from this number are being sent to Lenny; let them work things out with him.

Caller: Claiming to be Telstra

Told me someone was sharing my modem as I was going thru too much data.

When I said I would call Telstra myself they hung up

Did not leave a message so obviously had no legitimate reason for calling. If they did, they would have left callback details and allowed me the courtesy of deciding if I want to return their call.

I very much doubt (03) 8789 4455 caled you 3 to 4 times a day for 5 years. Blaming the wrong number
