Been calling constantly for days. Sometimes they go to my voicemail but never say anything. Just background noise. I refuse to answer the call so they can just keep on trying and I'll keep hanging up!!

really, really annoying. They phone in, but often hang up when I answer. they have been phoning for days now, mainly late afternoon to 8.30 pm

very persistant ,so now I tell them that I cannot understand a word they are saying and to get somebody that speaks english

I leave my mobile number on my Work Landline Answering machine message, they then get my mobile number off that & call me whilst I'm out in meetings etc. A real pain in the arse - block this number!!

This is a complete phishing scam.....after full name, address, dob, medicare (or license) number, exp. dates and hopefully (for them) bankcard/mastercard number posing usually as a telecommunications company offering cheap bundle deals. they use various company names and usually say they are going through Telstra lines. Totally id theft and theft from existing accounts (if they con ur card details off u). If u get ripped contact police, otherwise if they contact u report to scamwatch online, the telecommunications ombudsman and ur communications provider to block them and report them. I am aware of 2 numbers (there may be more) which are 1:(03) 8683 5984 and 2:(03) 8644 2948. Although the numbers are based in Victoria I believe they are just routers either to elsewhere in Aust. or possibly overseas, I'm still working on that cause I'm pretty pissed off! The call is within relations to bundles you complete online, its all a scam.
You either filled out a form or they manage to obtain your number.
I just spoke to these idiots and they advised I completed an application of some sort last night.
I did however complete an application but soon realized it's all a scam.
They ask for your address etc. I blocked their numbers

Painful as I'm getting called every 15 minutes

Once they said they were in Australia and I said no you're not

They asked for my ex husband who never even lived at this number

I have a husky voice and I sound like a man to some

They're so unprofessional they just say hello

For som reason I've been getting them for weeks and I have a new device

My friends don't even know my number but these people know my surname

I called the number back but I couldn't understand the recorded message

I keep getting the same call from this number!! so effing annoying! we answer then they don't talk and they just hang up, it literally happens every hour, it only started today which is weird. and they just called me at 8:30pm. so annoying !

Idiots. I am on the no not call register exactly for people like this and they call me about 10 times a day. I run a business and I don;t have time to waste with people clogging up my mobile.

We to them we knew they were a scam and to leave us alone so now they call numerous times a day and just hang up when you answer.

This number keeps ringing, but nobody speaks. I am absolutely sick of the phantom phone calls.

Everyone! Please report any number that does this to the Do Not Call Register, even if you are not on the register. They are likely to be breaching the Telemarketing Standard and the DNCR operator will check details and pass it onto the ACMA who is the telecommunications regulator and can prosecute them. 3 things the callers must do at the beginning of a telemarketing call. 1. Give their name. 2 Give the the name of the company they are calling from or on behalf of. 3. The purpose of the call. They must also not call before 9am or after 8pm in your time zone weekdays and not before 9am or after 5pm Saturday. They cannot call Sundays or on Public Holidays if it is a telemarketing call. Call the DNCR on 1300 792 958 or lodge a complaint online at donotcall.gov.au. Please do it. I know all this because I work in the legal team of a reputable telemarketer (yes they do exist! We make over 1 million calls a month and while we do get complaints, they are not valid. Our last breach was over 5 years ago- no I can't say who I work for). The TIO can't really help if a complaint has not first been made against the company and remains unresolved.

they called me 11 times all in one day!!!! from 3.01pm to 6.28pm - starts out with the Telstra customer and line changes... I also have another two numbers that have the exact same spiel.....both also with many calls in one day

7 phone calls today since 3:07pm (and it's only 6:30pm!)
Never anyone speaking to me when I answer but when my boyfriend answers he gets the scammer, which is funny coz the account is in my name, not his..
Will be calling Telstra to put a block on it now

Am sick of these brain dead Indians ringing and waking our baby.
Claiming to be from My Telecom.
I tell them every time to f**k off, but they don't get the hint.

Keep getting calls from this number even though I'm listed on the Do Not Call Register. Am thinking about having my home phone disconnected because I'm so over it.

SCAM

Ring Telstra and you can get the number barred . I've done it to their (03) 8644 2948 number now they are calling on (03) 8683 5984. This number will be getting barred as well. The account holder for your phone is the only person who can set up the Barr. Hope this is helpful. Hope they rot in hell
