Received call this morning and didnt answer as I was unsure of number. I rang back and it went to a full message box. So still uncertain who it is that is ringing.

Just got one as well no message no chance of telling them to piss off

recieved two calls from this number today. First call hung up when I answered. Second call sonme guy said "hello, this is adam calling from Call Active, how are you" and then it hung up.

Highly annoying! And yes we are on the do not call register.

Piss off telemarketers. Get a real job like everybody else.

I had 17 calls from this company. Returned 7 times only to be told I have been taken off there list 2 hours later they call. If you don't answer they still keep on calling. It seems nothing can be done.

just got a call from this number 10mins ago, I missed the call and it went to my vmail all i could hear was many many voices like a call centre no message was left. dont answer these calls and delete them immediately. less encouragement for these low life creatures the better.

I have received 2 calls from this number and both times they dont respond and they hang up on me. Glad to hear that Im not the only one receiving strange calls from this number.

Mystery caller probably marketing?

I answered a call from this number at 1730 yesterday. After a number of unrelated sales and scam calls lately, I have taken to not saying anything when I answer as I have come to realise that computer generated calls slightly delay before a person (and background noise) can be heard where as a non- voice activated caller will actually say something after a couple of seconds (regardless of whether they are bona fide or not). After a couple of seconds of silence on the other end, the call was disconnected. When I rang the number back today (off a mobile) the call connected at dial tone (very strange). After about 8 rings a voicemail message stated the voicemail box person at extension number blah was full, then stating it would transfer through to an operator before it disconnected the call. I doubt this is a genuine caller!

I have a friend who has missed several calls from this number over the past week or so.
So glad I looked it up and found this forum.
I've told him it's a telemarketer and hopefully he'll keep "missing" their calls.

OT: is there a do-not-call register for mobiles?
