Don't bother returning the call its a cold call , starts with a "survey" - its a heard sell for financial products

I got a call from this number, they are peddling financial services and asked me if I was a home owner, I said I did not know them, then quickly proceeded to ask the purpose of their call and they stuttered and gave me some blab, and I quickly said, not this time, they kept going, I said not this time.....

They thanked me for my time and I quickly hung up.

SCAM all over it. Do NOT trust nor engage.

Missed call, when call back always engaged

This guy called me tonight and it took a few times to get through to him that i wasn't interested. Did not want to listen then went on talking about how my accountant may not be giving me good taxation advice. Blah blah , finally got through to him im done with talking about my finances and saving tax. I have salary packaging so i don't pay much anyways. Number now blocked

His name was Anton, and was from Financial Services Australia. Peddling some deal to reduce tax payments by upto 50% to help pay off mortgage/loans faster. Wanted to come to my house for 30 minutes to explain the deal. Sorry, but I'm just not that stupid!!! lol

I called back number (03) 8677 5838 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.

They called me and asked if it was me and I confirmed then they hung up on me.

Nuisance caller, you answer and they hang up. If you call back you can hear them answer and then hang up

Interesting comments about this number. I got a call on my mobile today, and it didn't relate to anything said in the comments. Perhaps is a number used by multiple companies? Anyhow, it was a very nice-sounding lady - just doing her job (and obviously a horrible job at that) - asking me about home security. Then she wanted to know if me or my partner worked. I just said "sorry your question is too personal, and I cannot continue this call". These calls are annoying I know, but I could hear in this lady's voice that she had copped a lot of abuse already today, and was (to my surprise) very understanding about my point of view. Remember these are people just working for a measly sum. But having said that, I do draw the line of when they call and are rude to me. Happily this wasn't the case this time. I hope that woman gets a better job. No-one should have to be a cold-caller for a living.

Answered call, was told about how the government has introduced all these financial incentives to make sure we retire in comfort etc etc.
Offering a free half an hour consultation in my home. No idea how they got my mobile number but had out of date information on the suburb I lived in.
