They keep calling me, so annoying. Next time they call, I will definitely be telling them im contacting the police as it’s harassment. They be wasting everyone’s precious time.

Well, I've now contacted Simply Energy directly, who asked if 'd ever been a customer (which I haven't) and then got some load of bollocks about how "you must have put the number in somewhere"..... really? REALLY? My Private, unlisted number that has never been used outside of family, never posted online, never used ANYWHERE!!!

But yeah, I did manage to get to a "Line Manager" who asked from my phone number, who my electricity company was and if I'd like them to stop calling.

"But, hold on, you guys contacted me, you said my number (again, unlisted and does NOT SHOW UP WHEN YOU USE BASIC CALLER ID!!!) was "in your system". You have also told me about some Random Number Generator? Can I ask what that is and how that pertains to you having my phone number illegally?" I was promptly hung up on at this point.

SO! They have obtained my number either A) Illegally by deception of freedom of Information or some such crap. B) They "Random Number Generator" somehow managed, of ALL THE POSSIBILITIES IN THE WORLD, dials my number.

Oh, they also tried to say "Maybe a family member signed you up for something?" HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA, yep, my family, who know why my numbers like this, will hand it out to some random person? A random online Survey? Even asked if it was on my FACEBOOK!!!!

I'm sorry, we learnt in the early/mid 90's that it's a bad idea to do this stuff. 100% scam. I'd also like to thank "Daryl" for calling me twice today from (03) 8658 8016 (a obvious call center due to all the voices I could hear in the background) and prompting me to follow all this through.

I said not interested, they keep calling & leaving empty call centre background msgs on my voice mail, hang up when I answer from this number last, which I just blocked, but also from several other no. which I have also blocked. It is so irritating!

2 calls, no message left. Obviously scammers.

Blocked! Thankfully I reverse number checked before picking it up!

I'm now starting to regret playing with a certain spamming phone caller trying to get me to give him access to my computer. It may just be coincidence but ever since I wasted 30 minutes of his time and made him look like a fool, I've been getting calls from numbers just like this 3-4 times a day. There's only so many different ways to stuff around with these guys. This one was the same as all the others, Some company wanting to get me savings from my electricity company. I told him I didn't like savings and wanted to pay lots and lots of money for everything. he thanked me and hung up.

Sick of them calling using different numbers, after telling them my electricity is included in my rent, so I DON'T HAVE A POWER BILL!!!! Waste of my time and theirs
