Got a miss call from this number today and no message left. Google the number and got me here. Adding it to Blocked Call List now.

Just contact simple energy to confirm. It's NOT their number so BEWARE!!!

I had them also call and ask for ID and were very aggressive when I said I would not give them the details.

They just keep calling. block the number...

they were probably just dialing random numbers?

These clowns keep on calling, my number is on the do not call register, however it doesn't seem to stop them.

I received a call from them in regards of their services, but we already had a conversation with customer service. They asked about my DL or Medicare card number for credit check purposes. I decided to call customer service number 138808 and asked if this information required, but they said it is NOT required. I am not sure if this is a scam or not, but will never speak with them again

Yes. This is Simply Energy. I received a call at work but had to ask them to ring me on my day off - am just so busy!!!! It would be follow up call possibly for further info. Anyway they offer the best rates. I have just switched to them after being with Lumo for about 10 years and having looked out for the best rates for a while now, as gas and electricity costs are going through the roof!! My daughter also signed up them them. Lovely Spanish guy signed me up on the weekend.

Somehow he new my last name but it was a scam, noisey background he pretended he couldn't here me for the first minute and then said he was Sam from some energy thing.

Apparently Simply Energy offering to save $65 off my billl. Not sure how they got my mobile number. Lots of noise in the background and a guy (Sam) asking me what my name was. Recommend hang up and then block call.

Well they keep calling me and then hang up with no message before I can answer.
Is there a telecommunications ombudsman this could be referred to? because its pretty annoying!
