Caller: Number not connected. "Number not connected", recorded message.
If this is an Australian number, and is scam, how do they get connected to the Australian phone network?
Shouldn't Telstra take responsibility for allowing such scammers access to Australian networks and our private information?
Telstra adverts would have you believe that scam calls come from outer space. This is not true, These numbers are accessed by scammers and Telstra is complicit, prioritising profit over people's privacy and safety.

This number called my mobile today; which is why I'm here. I was unable to take the call.
Note that calls being made from software operating on PCs/laptops as in call centres can use any 'masking number' as that which appears on your device's display when the call is received. I was once called from a QLD cattle property (number recorded was found on the legitimate company's website).
Given the metadata associated with mobile communications has many attributes, it's possible for the number displayed to not be aligned from the ACTUAL number which the SIM card is registered to

Caller: Indian They said my telstra internet has been compromised and anything i do can seen. When i told them i was not at home to give them any information and if they wanted me to call back when home, they hung up. i suspected something but wanted to see what they would do when i said i would call back
