Caller: Australian research advisory board

They said they were from the Australian research advisory board. Automated questionnaire asking if I pay too much tax, what the value of my house and mortgage is. If I got over 5k back from my tax return. Said if I answered the questions I’d go into the draw to win $1000. Asked me for my name. I didn’t answer any of the questions properly, I just wanted to see what they’d ask me for. Once the automated questionnaire finished it automatically hung up. I have no idea if it was legit. It didn’t seem like it was phishing for information that would be that useful. Still, I’m not giving out any information to some random number.

Block this number. Spammers

So annoying when they won’t leave a voicemail. My advice, don’t answer a number you don’t recognise and don’t call back if they don’t have the courtesy of leaving a voicemail so you know who it is.

Just another of a spate of spam/scam calls this week since I gave out my number for an emergency situation. I don’t give my number to anyone government or private but forced to last week and viola these calls started. Every businesses database is hacked without them knowing as small. Businesses are not forced to have high end level digital security

called back and got recorded message - 'the number you have dialed is not connected' - how does that happen??
