If this number is being used for fraudulent activities, then why hasn't the phone/number been withdrawn..Simple????????????

Scamming season!
I know many are currently receiving letters trying to scam them also.

This number should be disconnected by the authorities!
Blocked these pests.

They just called me. If this number is being used for fraudulent activities, then how long does the AFP take to take down/withdrawn the phone/number??????..Simple??????

I have had 3 calls from them, they leave messages about a warrant out for my arrest for tax ... just blocked them

been getting calls from this number for a while. decided to answer today. surprise surprise they said nothing. it's now blocked on my phone.

Fraud but I kept them talking, I was bored, so I played along.

Just had a call - asked for the owner of the business (I am at work)
Didn't realise it was this scam number - he said he is calling back tomorrow so when and if he does I have the number written down and I will tell him I am calling the police

Yeah! I got it too. I played along and explained that I new about my debt to the taxation department and that my lawyer was dealing with it. I explained that my lawyer was happy to speak to them and that I would pass on their concerns. They hung up. Bugger.. I hadn't finished.

fraudsters threatening my mum with a warrant for her arrest due to tax evasion and fraud. I do hope they enjoyed my voicemail message!

I got a call this morning which I didn't answer. When I listened to the voicemail they left it said "there is a warrant out for your arrest, please call blah, blah similar number. Do not ignore this message, please call back".
I can only think if there really is an arrest warrant out for me they would leave their name and where they are calling from before launching into arrest. AFAIK I haven't broken any laws and I am ignoring it.

biggest bunch of frauds. DO NOT PAY THEM. ITS A SCAM confirmed by police department. tell them where to go!! :)
