Caller: back ground had callcentre sounds

It had call centre sound signs in the background have a good

I picked up and the other end hung up immediately.

Caller: Adrian- re survey

Aussie sounding bloke called Adrian said he was calling about an economic survey.I said not interested & hung up.How are they allowed to get away with calling - when you have a Do not call number.

Market Research company. They phoned me, I answered, they hung up. I called back, persisted through what felt like 100 rings to get a voice mail that says something to the effect of "if you received a call from us, it was for a survey... if you no longer wish to be contacted, leave your phone number".
I've done so. Let's see if they call again.

Constantly calls about twice every day. Doesn't answer and hangs up.

I have recieved calls from this number but they just hang up, why isn't something done about these calls?

Late for a call, no message left on machine, so presume a scammer or similar!!!
