Phoned me 3 times in 4 hours and I didnt answer.

They call 2x per day. Say they are "bag a bargain".

I have just blocked this caller from my phone as I have been receiving calls today and yesterday. I have a hearing disability and the accents are very hard to hear. He knew my name, my postcode and I told him I pay my bills by direct credit and already received a discount. I was not offered another company but he did get my address from me so I guess someone will turn up to offer me a "better deal". I hate these callers. Is this progress?

Telemarketing wanted me to change my electricity provider because I paid my bills on time, I would get a better deal from them.

I answered the call once and told them I was not interested. I also asked to be removed from their call list.
I added their number to the reject list on my phone but this means that when they call, I get a "hang up message" or a "hello, hello, hello" message on #101.
I am now going to contact my provider and block them, see if that works.

I've added my number to the Do no Call register, yet I'm still getting calls. Sounds to me like that's been a waste of time.

I was averaging 2-3 calls everyday. . Also when I rang back I was put into a queue. I have now blocked it on my phone.

You can still report the caller to Telstra. Give them the number, time and date if available

This number rings me everyday and someone says they are telemarket for my power company once I said I am not the bill payer he asked me for my partners phone number once I asked which company he works for, the guy said I don't have to tell you now give me your partners number once I asked for the manager he got smart and laughed once I said I am ringing the police he turned around and said do you know my name? I said no he said do you know what company I work for? I said no so he laughed again and said good luck.

So I thoug I will ring back everytime I've been answered I get hung up on
