Caller: I don't know but from the comments it's a scam.

When I see a number not on my contacts I pick up but don't speak, it really pisses them
off, they never talk but hang up in about 3 secs LOL.

keeps calling multiply times a day and when i pick up they hang up. when i ring back it goes to Apple marketing group. if yo select number 2 it goes to a general enquiry, you speak to someone in apple marketing and they can block your number from the charities so they stop ringing you

I've blacklisted this number so many times and they still manage to call through. Charity Ive asked them not to call again. They dont listen. A holes

One day they call my mobile, then the next day call my husbands mobile, comes up as spam on both phones, so it's now blocked.

Keep calling me up to 2 times a day. I will not answer, they never leavve a message

Ok, so just been told that even if you are on the DO NOT CALL register, charities are exempt from it so can still call you !!?? What is the point of putting your number on it then ? they seem to be the ones ringing all the time.

called a few times, usually they hang up when it goes to answering machine, but today the man asked for me by name, but i dont know the number so seem this is about the 5th time they called i blocked the number

Same as others… call centre scammer or persistent charity using fake Caller IDs.

Caller IDs and the Do Not Call Register in Australia do not work.

Write to the Telecommications Minister to demand that Caller IDs are verified prior to calls being put through. That will stamp out the fake Caller IDs.

And if the fake Caller IDs are stamped out, then it will be easier for violators of the Do Not Call Register to be reported, caught, and fined.

An easy fix, if the Australian Government wasn’t so lazy.

The US Government made the Caller ID check law recently and scammer calls dropped enormously overnight.

I did not answer as the number was not familiar, no message was left when the call went to message bank. I have now done a reverse number check. How can I block numbers on my home landline number??

Same as above. Persistent callers. Hang up when the answering machine kicks in.
