I've a call at 3pm from company called Prelegal saying they have my file regarding car accident / work place injury. I have no idea who they are and how they got my details. Bastards, definitely scam

I received a text message the other day addressed to another woman, first name only and then today (03) 8636 8505 rang and i didnt answer. I rang back and all i got was a recorded message in an australian accent asking me to leave a message. No business name was mentioned on the recording.

Caller was a female stated she was from pre legal and asked if I'd been injured in a motor vehicle accident. Only used my first name and didn't ask for any of my details. I told her sorry but I don't know who you are. I could hear her typing in the back ground. She Stated that I might have a case and she was working on behalf of slater and Gordon with no win no fee. Very pleasant voice when asked how she got my name and number she said I filled out a injury form online and that was how. Keep stating that she work for pre legal and slater and gordon. Also gave me a number I could call her back on 1300 001 521 same recording as the (03) 8636 8505 Number but no business name listed. In case I wanted to go for compensation. Scam big time!!

Received a call asking if I had been in an accident. Knew my name also.

I took a call from (03) 8636 8505, spoke to a young girl (Newcastle/Geordie UK accent) (probably a back-packer). She said she was calling from 'Course You Can' (Melbourne) http://www.courseyoucan.com.au/ (inactive website) as I had apparently enquired about one of their Community Services courses in 2012. She asked if I had sustained an injury as their 'sister' company 'Pre Legal Compensation' could help.
I told her I wasn't interested and to delete all my details.
Something borderline dodgy going on here? Pre Legal Comp have got hold of Course You Can's customer data and are combing through it to find people who might be able to make compo claims..?

Called back twice, answer machine with no ID (Australian accent), did not leave a message. My company uses Riskman... very worrying...

She said she was from Paralegal or something like that. I want to know how they got my number and my name as I have a private number?! I have blocked the number now.
