Same me- received call 9 am this morning, at one of the busiest times for me, tried calling back and BUSY, thankyou all for sharing, at least I know it's origin now, I'm on a payment plan myself , have no idea why they are calling : S

Constantly ringing my home and mobile and refuse to leave a message or say who they are. I call back and it's engaged. Stalkers. Should be stopped!

I got an unknown call from this number and I tried ringing it back and it's always engaged. I don't answer numbers I don't know.

i had a missed call from this number too, and when i returned the call, it tells me the line is busy.WTF

This Number Is Origin Energy and seeing the guy who rang me did so after a call from Tony Abbotts office it must be used by people up the chain a bit.

I rang Tony Abbotts office this morning to find out how much my cost of a Kwh of power would be reduced by if he got rid of the carbon tax, his office couldn't tell me but said they'd get someone from Origin Energy to ring me, Origin rang and this is the number he used to ring me, I told him at the moment I was paying 28 cents per KWH and would it be reduced 10% to 25.2 cents if Abbott gets rid of the carbon tax, he replied no there's more to it than that and then tried to sell me a heap of obvious bullsh*t, try it yourself with your own power company and you will find like I did that no-ones going to get their Kwh rate reduced by 10% as promised by Abbott.

I am getting the same thing and it is starting to annoy me.. I had 5 missed calls from private numbers and directly after 3 from 8635 3000 and now engaged. What are they playing at? Unless they are calling to tell me I've got $1,000,000 sitting in a bank account somewhere I AM NOT INTERESTED!

Same thing they keep on calling its the greey ones but dont panic, they usually abduct the one who answers the phone first.

Keep getting missed calls, no message left and engaged when I call it back, not calling again

5 times a week on caller ID.
Starting to give me the sh**s with all the other private callers.No joke 21 calls a week all up with this one.What can you do?

I have also received a call from this number on my landline. They didn't leave a message and the number is engaged if I try to call back. At about this time I also got a call on my mobile but didn't pick it up in time to answer. The call was from 'unknown'.

As we have recently changed our account from Origin Energy the above comments fit. We changed the account because we couldn't get on to Origin when we needed to.....phone not answered, left hanging on the line, etc. etc. Same old same old.

It annoys the hell out of me.

yeah - its origin. I didn't answer it - I rarely answer calls on my work phone from interstate as I get too many junk calls from recruiters etc. Anyway they at least left a message for me to call them back

This number keeps ringing my Modem line. My Modem answers and sends it's tones then they hang up and ring agagin three times in a row last several days. Wonder how they got it as it is unlisted number.
