This is a company called Recoveries Corp a debt collecting agency!

I answered the call but wouldn’t verify my details because I had no idea what it was about!

Turns out that they deal with unpaid toll notices on behalf of linkt

Pretty much told them what ever toll notice I received had been paid! Over a month ago and that they need ti figure it out with link as I have the invoice to proof it!!

Caller was insisting I verify my details and I pretty much told that it wouldn’t be happening and advised them to send me a letter in the mail after all they called me about a debt so they must have my details so let’s deal with it the old fashion way!

This company is pretending to be Linkt and trying to scam your money. THEY WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE ! I don't even have a linkt account !

Caller said they were from Linkt and would not proceed with the call unless I verified my details. Woman refused to give me any information until I verified my details, I laughed at her and asked her if I rang her and told her I was from the tax office and would only process her rebate when she gave me her personal details to verify who she was. She got snarky and said, if you are not going to give me your details I will have to end the call. I said fine, go ahead.

Apparently thru Linkt, I refused to give personal details and told them I’d sort it online, demanded I pay via credit card

Yes I had the same experience. They refused to progress with the call unless I verified my details and I refused to give out my DOB address and full name to a person who called me. She insisted so I said email me if you have my details. Have a nice day and hung up on them

Total scam.

Even if someone owes a creditor money, they dont have to pay a 3rd party debt collection agency.
Thats the choice of the creditor to employ a debt collector, so its on them not anyone else.
Thats the law. google AI it.

With any and all forms of debt collectors , understand they are a third party , by law , you are not required to interact with them. Ask them to send you a signed contract where you have agreed to do business /engage with them and only then when you have that contract in writing you will speak to them. Do not give your address.One that request is made 3 times they by law must not contact you.

Has called me 5 times 5 days in a row every morning & accidentally left 2 voice mails it’s a bunch of Indians in a room talking on phones do not answer!

Someone tried to call me but didn’t leave a message.. based on the comments section its Toll Recoveries or something like that. I don’t pay tolls as the Australian Constitution 1901 section 8 states that I have the right of free travel within Australia. Look it up as it’s useful information.

They call me twice a day, I refuse to give them my information and she hung up. That’s when the two calls a day started, been ignoring. Have contacted Linkt and realised I had one toll unpaid which I paid upfront, no issues. Still keeps calling me 😭

I think it's legit because my hubby wracked up tolls in my car without my knowledge and now I owe big time, only called once but I missed the call. Wouldn't give any details over any call, will go online to organise a payment plan.

Persistent calls demanding payment of “outstanding tolls” and requesting personal details. I contacted Linkt directly to confirm I have no current debt owed to them. 100% scam. Blocked.
