Caller: Alex, who said he was from Telstra I had lodged a complaint over the phone directly to Telstra.
Days later I have had Alex from Telstra ring me several times so I had to block him because I felt uneasy. When I said I couldn’t take his last call and would contact Telstra directly, he said they won’t bother contacting me so don’t bother!!! How unprofessional is that!
He wanted all of my details and I said how do I know you’re from Telstra? I know if you do speak to Telstra, they will send you a text with a code which you have to read back….always within seconds of them answering your calls. Then Alex emailed me after I blocked him.
His email address was complaints @ support-team.telstra.com whereas the REAL Telstra complaints email address that is on their website is telstracomplaints @ team.telstra.com

Caller: saidhewasfromTelstra could barely understand male voice ...asked him where he was from....replied Phillipines........called about 5.00 p.m. could barely understand what he was on about askijng about telstra bill.......had to cut him short as was getting suspicious.....Telstra had no need to call me as i could see and never have called me at 5.oopm before.........ahhh welll!

Caller: Telstra Caller phoned from this number and when I answered They DIDN'T SPEAK and that was followed by a voicemail with no message as They DIDN"T SPEAK !!!!!!! Does this sound like Testra's behaviour ??????

Caller: Telstra Said they were from complaints department but something fishy about them… they said they don’t send text messages? Then sent a text from a number that’s is suspicious for scams!? I didnt realise that the text prior was slightly different to all the previous ones but then she said she was closing the complaint when the issue was not fixed? Oh and didn’t even ask if I was the person who owned the account… the complaint wasn’t even correct and she seemed genuinely confused.

Caller: “The tallest police tracker is Australia “ We were expecting a call from Telstra Complaints however the voice mail received just now was strange or lost in AI translation. If call was genuine then the caller cannot assume the complainant just sits around all day waiting

According to Telstra I have no outstanding Invoices. But I keep receiving calls from this number about an outstanding Telstra bill from 2020 with an old address we haven't occupied for over 10yrs. The line was poor & sounded like she was outside. Something not right here as her explanation doesn't fit any actions taken by this company!!
