"International Women's Association" Asking for money.

Caller: Apple Marketing (charity fundraisers)

Apple Marketing appear to be some charity fundraisers. Frustrating that they don't leave a message. You can check their current campaigns here to see if you recognise any of the charities they're calling from: https://www.applemarketing.com.au/campaigns-calling. For me it was International Women's Development Agency.

Has called 4 times in the last 2 days. Leaves no message. Presumed scam or spam.

Still calling and leaving no message.

Has rung a number of times, and doesn't leave a message, so I won't answer

Caller claimed to be from Bird Life Australia. She sounded like an older woman, i.e grandmotherly, and tried to engage me in a conversation about this organisation and what it tries to achieve. She then informed me I could set up a regular monthly donation to support this organisation but that I could cancel it at any time. I almost fell for this, but declined as I am not employed full time. She offered to call back next week to discuss this further, but I am so very glad that I checked out the number she was calling from to find out that she is a scammer!! Thank you to everyone else who has reported calls from this number.

I’ve had them call multiple times and hang up, I called back to get: thank you for calling the charity fundraiser specialist.

Note, Birdlife Australia would never do this.

Four or five calls over the last few days, no message left.

Interstate number, rang immediately after another scam number and didn’t leave a message.

Repeated calls no message, blocked

Numerous calls, no message left. Blocked.

Recently repeated calls; never any message - no. records as "(03) 8617 0389 38617" - no other phone number ever did.
Highly suspect, definitely won't reply.
