Lady calls clamming to be MeBank.
They will ask you if you have received an email requesting to confirm bank account contact details.
Then they ask you to confirm account details over the phone.
It’s an Australian female voice however it is not MeBank. They are attempting to scam you for your personal information

Caller: Me Bank Australian woman speaking, claiming to be from MeBank. Said she had sent an email first (not received). Asking for personal details. Definitely a scam. Blocked this number.

It's a legitimate number. Call ME Bank directly and they will confirm.

Definitely a scam phishing for personal details. They send a sms or email before calling so you think it’s genuine.

Caller: MeBank It is legit MeBank, not a scam. When I google searched the number it comes up with their website with the phone number “(03) 8615 2906” listed on the “Contact Us” page. I didn’t appreciate the 7am call though.
