Got another call from these guys, at least they had a valid callerid and were not from overseas. After confirming all their info, listening to how I can get the Govt Rebate, I told the caller I was on the DNC list and how did you get my number? Caller said they have a call center above the warehouse to telemarket and buy lists of numbers including mine. I told her I would be reporting them to ACMA for DNC violations.

Caller said she was from From EEC Electrical, doing a survey for Solar power, told her we are already on solar and besides we are on the DNC and I hung up. Have called me periodically over the past 2 weeks, this was the first time I answered.

Ditto, Redspiker. Lady called me yesterday claiming to be from a company in Tullamarine that I had contacted "some time ago" regarding solar panel installation, saying they had information on a government rebate. Couldn't tell me when I'd supposedly called them, and I missed the company name they used. Suffice to say I've never made any inquiries about solar panels...
